I have had good luck with a product called PolySeamSeal. It is a silicon
caulk which is applied like any caulk. Before you use it, be sure to clean
all the mildew and old caulk completely away. Let the area get completely
dry. Run a bead of PolySeamSeal along the joint you want to seal.
Immediately use a very wet sponge to smooth the bead. Keeping the sponge
wet, continue to wipe away the excess ( and only the excess) caulk away. You
will have to keep the sponge clean and wet. Work on one joint at a time,
making each joint perfect before moving on to the next. If a joint doesn`t
turn out like you want it, just remove the caulk, let it dry, and start
over.
