Tip of the Week

Dear Home Improvement Guru;

Dear Bev;
I think that is a fantastic idea, especially in a small room. By "taking
away" the ceiling, the room would have a feeling of depth, especially with
the window wall. I would, however, stay away from ceiling lighting. I would
use a flat paint (like a matte finish) and small table lamps for lighting,
with the light washing up the walls. Expect the room to have a different
feel as the light changes between morning and afternoon.
Great idea! Let me know how it turns out.
