Should I attempt to do sheet rock if its my first time? Mixed opinions from friends.
Dear DIY`er;
It might be better for you to gain some exposure first. Try this: when you hire a contractor to do the job, make a provision in the contract that allows you to be a helper. You can learn how to carry the rock into the house (no small accomplishment), how to cut and hang, and all the steps involved in finishing the rock. I have never seen a rocker turn down help carrying rock.
