Replacing 3-way switchesWhen replacing a 3-way switch, move the wires from the old switch to the new switch one at a time. This makes it easier to get them in the right place. Unlike a single pole switch, if any of the wires on a 3-way are reversed, the switches won´t work correctly.Comments1/17/2007 4:38:16 PMKaren said: If the switches already work, but were theoretically wired "wrong", this method works great. The new switches will work!
